At Kip McGrath Capalaba our philosophy is to nurture all our students to reach their full potential. Offering quality tutoring to primary and secondary aged students in Maths, English, Reading and Spelling allows us to help students in the areas they need it the most. Whether it be remedial assistance or wanting to get ahead, we design a individualised program to suit the child. We provide a modern learning centre that is positive and supportive to individual needs because every child is special and different. We actively encourage self-esteem and self-confidence in every student and we show them how to achieve their personal best. We want every student to experience success in our open, friendly and supportive environment.
Robert has previously taught Senior Maths and help positions as Head of mathematics, Deputy Principal and Principal across several schools. Just prior to our purchase of the Kip centres he was working for the Queensland Studies Authority (QSA). I, Carole, have spent some time teaching adult literacy and numeracy since leaving her position of Director of Studies in a high school to work in the Cleveland Centre prior to our purchase of it.
We were both becoming increasingly aware of the fact that if children begin to fall behind or struggle in their studies their chances of achieving their potential in education and life decreases. We both love the time we have spent tutoring children and get a special buzz we see their faces light up when they learn something new. We look forward to getting to know the Capalaba children and families.
